A pioneer in the field of synthetic oil, Motul was the first lubricant manufacturer to exploit the technology of esters. Originally invented for aeronautics, esters are plant-based components and benefit from unique lubricating properties and resistance to shear and temperature. Motul's technological showcase, their 300V 15W50 oils and top-of-the-range products such as Gear Competition 75W140 gear oil and Motul RBF 600 brake fluid are now recognised around the world as automotive industry leaders, in both sports and competition.
The Motul 300V range has been developed for racing cars in intensive use. It is intended for all heavily loaded sports engines, operating over a wide range of temperatures and speeds, petrol or diesel, naturally aspirated or forced induction, direct or indirect injection, or carburettor. Motul 300V oils surpass all existing "competition" standards, extract maximum engine power, and provide exceptional engine protection.
Motul motor oils are manufactured in France, in the Aubervilliers plant. They offer optimum protection, meeting the latest and very specific manufacturer standards (BMW, Subaru, Mercedes, VAG, Ford, PSA, Porsche, General Motors, Renault Sport, electric hybrid vehicles ...), and minimalizing pollution thanks to major technological advances, meeting the latest European laws and EURO standards, ACEA, API, etc.
