This RacingDiffs bearings and oil seals set allows to restore BMW MM type differentials that have become noisy with time. It includes components of the same quality as the original for a long lasting reliability. It fits most differentials produced by the manufacturer until 1999 and is compatible with the following models:
- 3 Series: E21 (big case), E30, E36
- 5 Series: E28, E34
- 7 Series: E23, E32, E38 (early models)
- 8 Series: E31
- Z: Z1, Z3, Z8

How do you know if your differential needs new bearings?
This characteristic differential noise can be heard during acceleration and when using engine braking. To distinguish between differential bearing noise and wheel bearing noise, turn the steering wheel quickly to the left and right as if to warm up the tires. If the noise varies (louder or softer), it's a wheel bearing. If it is constant, it means the differential bearings need to be replaced.
