Plastics 4 Performance Polycarbonate Windows Specifications

A leader in the market for lightweight polycarbonate windows for motor sports, Plastics 4 Performance provides a complete range of front windscreens, side windows, rear quarter windows and rear screens suitable for rallying or track use. Available individually or in kits, each piece of window offers high optical quality, is precision thermoformed to match the original glass and CNC 3D cut for a perfect fit.

Approximately 50% lighter than glass of the same thickness, Lexan or Macrolon polycarbonate is treated with UV protection to prevent discolouration, ensuring a long service life, and is marked to meet MSA, FIA and ABG regulations. Depending on the model, it can be reinforced with Plastics 4 Performance's proprietary ENDURO® hard coating, which helps the window resist scratches (caused in particular by windscreen wipers) and chemicals.

The windows offered on this page are transparent and have a thickness of 5.2 mm for windscreens (to meet FIA standards), while the side windows are 4 mm thick. Other thicknesses, colours, treatments and accessories (tear-offs) are available. Please contact us for any information regarding this type of special order.

The available items are shown in the illustrations above and vary depending on the vehicle. Please note that the windscreen is never included in the window kit and must be added separately when placing your order, if required and if available.

Optional Products

In order to guarantee proper installation and ensure the maintenance of Lexan or Makrolon windows, the following products are available as options:

• The special polycarbonate adhesive, sold individually, is usually sufficient to treat one rear window or two rear quarter windows. For a windscreen, two units of this adhesive are recommended: in this case, please order from the product page. The manufacturer reminds you that using any other adhesive may damage your window and will void any warranty.
• The polycarbonate polish and cleaner kit is ideal for caring for your windows: it prevents dust from sticking, improves water dispersion and fills in micro-scratches. It contains 300 ml of Polyclean and 300 ml of Polyseal, as well as two microfibre cloths. Warning: do not use on windscreens.
