With over 25 years' unique experience in motorsport, particularly endurance racing, German company KW has an excellent reputation in the field of sports and racing suspension. Street Performance products are designed for road use, giving the vehicle an individual look and improving driving dynamics. The KW V1 are the manufacturer's entry-level products, ideal for users who want to install a plug & play kit with a permanent vehicle-specific setup. They offer an optimum balance between sportiness and everyday driving pleasure.

KW coilovers are developed in intensive test cycles on the Nürburgring circuit and in-house on the KW 7-post hydraulic driving dynamics rig, which simulates the vehicle's suspension travel on tracks around the world.

The Street Performance range is height-adjustable, allowing maximum lowering within the vehicle's technical limits from 45 to 85 mm, depending on the application. KW V1 coilovers are not adjustable for rebound or compression, and comply with factory-set values.

Boasting outstanding build quality, these coilovers feature stainless steel struts for maximum corrosion resistance and long life. They also use trapezoidal threading with optimised friction for easy ride height adjustment, excellent protection against dust and higher load capacity than conventional coilovers. The polyamide composite adjustment spring seat with stainless steel insert also contributes to the product's high durability.

KW may produce kits for a given vehicle with different part numbers depending on the maximum axle weight. To find this out, please look on your vehicle's manufacturer's plate, which is generally located in the engine compartment or in the doorways.
