BMW E46 Rear Chassis/Subframe Reinforcement Kit (Competition)

These weld-in plates are the perfect solution to repair and strengthen the rear of your BMW E46. An extremely common fault, is the tearing of the rear subframe mountings due to fatigue. This kit will repair and prevent that problem.

This kit is comprised of 8 pieces, all to be welded into place. The kit will suit all BMW E46 (saloon, coupe, touring, M3) except Compact.

There are no instructions but the pieces fit naturally. The parts are of good quality and they have the perfect shape. The machining and steel are perfect for this type of work. You need a MIG with preferably a cored wire of 1 allowing to weld on the ceiling or upside down. Otherwise spot welding works but it is not aesthetically pleasing.
