Developed by our partner MZR Garage, this kit for Nissan RB engines (RB20DE, RB20DET, RB25DE, RB25DET, RB26DETT) enables to fit two additional rear head drains, one to return oil to the sump and the other to improve water circulation in the engine.
RBs are prone to the phenomenon of oil pooling in the cylinder head: at high revs, all the oil is pumped up into the head, this will cause the sump to be drained and the engine eventually will suffer oil surge, which can have dramatic consequences. What's more, the stock water system is likely to create issues in the fifth cylinder, which is the last point.
This kit provides an effective solution to these two problems, which are particularly common in drift and drag, and requires you to drill and tap the existing hole on the back of the head to install the adaptor.
