BMW E36 models are well-known for developing cracks over time in the floor pan, particularly around the rear subframe mounting points. This structural issue, often worsened by corrosion, affects both high-mileage performance vehicles and low-mileage daily drivers. When cracks appear, they weaken the entire structure, and the rear subframe can eventually detach.

This reinforcement kit was designed to permanently address this weak point. It includes thick steel plates wide enough to cover a large surface area of the floor pan, significantly increasing chassis rigidity. Each plate is precisely cut for effective plug welding, ensuring a solid connection with the vehicle’s structure. Unlike other kits, special attention was given to the steel's thickness and malleability to combine strength with the ability to conform to the chassis contours.

Suitable for both street and racing use, this kit has been successfully installed on drift cars, track builds, and even V8 conversions. Once the plates are properly welded in place, the risk of cracks becomes virtually nonexistent, regardless of power level. For complete protection, reinforcing the front and rear strut towers is also recommended.
