Tech-53 Modular Solid Delrin Engine Mounts for BMW E46 Specifications

Stock rubber engine mounts are known for their fragility, especially under sporty use. As they wear out, they cause knocking noises, abnormal engine movement, and can lead to failure of other parts like transmission mounts, the fan, hoses, or even hood deformation. On BMW E36 and E46 models, the driver’s side mount is often the first to fail due to engine torque stresses.

This kit of rigid Delrin mounts eliminates these issues. Stronger and more stable than rubber, aluminum, or polyurethane models, they offer excellent heat resistance and effective vibration absorption while maintaining acceptable comfort for daily use. Unlike traditional designs, our unique construction allows optimal clamping via a mounting system anchored on the opposite side, making the assembly more robust and modular.

Three height options:

• OEM: original position, ideal for daily driving or drifting
• Lowered center of gravity: -5 mm, for improved stability on track
• Low Boy: for lowered or rally cars with reinforced oil pan protection
