Technical Specifications

Our hoses and joinders have undergone pressure resistance tests to certify their quality. Made from high-end silicone, Cooling Solutions hoses are 5 mm thick and reinforced with 4 layers of finely woven polyester. This is the highest specification on the consumer market. The table below lists the burst pressures of our hoses, according to their inner diameter (the overall outer diameter is 10 mm larger).

These values ​​were obtained by pressure testing with ambient air, at 20°C. This burst resistance varies very little over a range of -40°C to +200°C, making Cooling Solutions hoses suitable for all uses in a highly stressed engine bay, or facing bad weather in the open air all year round.
