Red Line ShockProof range of gear oils is characterised by the presence of solid microscopic particles offering low drag and high protection against extreme pressures. Compared with other conventional lubricants, these oils have a 40% lower coefficient of friction and a 250% higher load-carrying capacity, resulting in greatly reduced metal-to-metal friction.

These oils are also characterised by their high viscosity, while providing effective damping of gear teeth in harsh conditions. In addition, these oils help prevent tooth breakage and resist throw-off.

This Heavy ShockProof oil can be used with pumps and coolers when equipped with an inline screen rather than a fine filter. Avoid pumping down the center of a main shaft as the unique particles could centrifuge out of solution. It is designed for wet sump transmissions and differentials with splash lubrication.

Red Line 75W250 is recommended for heavily-loaded racing differentials and transmissions, as well as for problem gearboxes. Very popular, it is ideal for applications operating in extreme conditions such as Sprint, Midget, Dirt Late Model, Top Fuel, Funny Car... This lubricant is not recommended for most synchro units due to the product's extreme slipperiness.
