Manufactured by RacingDiffs, this clutch plate set repairs and upgrades your differential for superior performance. Compared to the stock components, it offers many advantages: the manufacturer claims a higher coefficient of friction, superior grip, increased lock, longer lifespan, reduced wear and greater resistance to heat.
The set is made of the highest quality, thermally processed steel parts. In the final stages of production, clutch plates are coated with a special molybdenum-ceramic compound in order to obtain the best compromise between friction coefficient and durability. The wear of the material and its tendency to warp under extreme conditions are thus considerably reduced, giving these plates the best possible longevity.
Most of these sets include perforated clutches for better differential cooling. Some sets are supplied with preload shims which, if the stock differential does not have any, provide smoother lock transitions (vehicle handling is more predictive) and preserve the life of the plates.
All RacingDiffs clutch plates undergo rigorous testing and are race proven throughout Europe and the United States. They can be found in motorsports as diverse as circuit racing, hillclimbing, rallying and drifting.

Both the 185 mm standard and Cosworth differential sets are available with the ASR Mechanical Conversion option. This adds a set of parts to the clutch replacement pack that allow the ASR differential to be converted to a mechanical differential for a smoother, more predictable lock.
