Nankang Classic Racing CVR-6 Tyres Specifications

The Nankang Classic Racing CVR-6 is a semi-slick tyre specially designed for classic racing cars and single-seaters frequently used on circuits and/or in competitions (hill climbs, etc.). It is approved for road use in Europe only for vehicles first registered before 1 October 1990.

The CVR-6 is designed to deliver consistently high performance in all conditions. Its composition, based on styrene-rich polymers and specific resins, allows for rapid temperature rise and excellent grip, even when the tread temperature varies. The addition of liquid rubber improves grip while maintaining the tyre's resistance to overheating.

Its reinforced structure, including a hybrid fibre belt cover and aramid fibre sidewall, reduces vibration, stabilises pressure, improves rigidity and ensures high durability. The higher bead filler design and new sidewall compound provide better support, a stronger structure and reduced heat generation. Finally, the all-season tread pattern improves handling and water evacuation.
