It should be noted that Japan hosts sportier versions of the 86, such as the GR Sport (new spoiler, meters, rear brace...), GR (differential, exhaust system and specific aerodynamic parts...) and GRMN (219 hp engine, body kit, increased rigidity, specific suspensions...). Subaru also offers the RA Racing (roll cage, brake cooling ducts, oil cooler...) and STI Sport (exclusive kit, revised suspension, chassis braces...).
