The MSD Street Fire HEI ignition distributor offers excellent value for money and is a bolt-on replacement to the standard distributor on GM Chevrolet V8s. Developed for performance, it features a particularly robust gear (identical to the one used on Pro-Billet distributors), designed to withstand the toughest conditions. The high voltage is transferred through a new rotor to the brass terminals of the distributor cap and out to the plugs.
This distributor features a vacuum advance and comes with a stop plate to limit amount of vacuum advance while driving. In addition, an optional kit with weights and springs enables the centrifugal mechanical advance to be adjusted for users looking for greater precision.
