The MSD Blaster 2 ignition coil is ideal for use in conjunction with an MSD 5, 6 or 7-series, an MSD Blaster Ignition or any other electronic ignition system (requires ballast resistor, not supplied). This coil improves spark production for superior performance and increases fuel economy.
This coil benefits from an alkyd tower with high dielectric properties that repels the formation of carbon tracking. Cooled in a metal case filled with high-quality oil, special windings are capable of delivering an exceptional maximum voltage build-up of 45,000 volts. Compatible with most factory canister coil mounts, this coil must be placed in a vertical position for optimum efficiency.
