Manual Valve for Accusump Specifications

This ball valve controls the oil flow between the engine and the Accusump accumulator. Simple and effective, this solution requires you to physically open the valve before starting the engine and close it before shutting the engine down.

While this system is quite suitable for engine pre-lubrication, its performance remains limited in terms of controlling pressure variations. Being totally open all the time, the valve will discharge oil any time there is any drop in pressure without differentiating between a small insignificant drop and a big drop. This disadvantage can, for example, cause you to reach a tight corner or start braking with less pressure in the Accusump due to the unit discharging some oil before the engine really needs it.

This valve can be installed directly on the accumulator or anywhere else along the feed line.
