This Koyo Performance aluminum expansion tank for Mazda MX-5 NC is an ideal replacement for the stock plastic tank. Over time, plastic hardens and becomes subject to degradation, so that cracks can form, leading to coolant leaks. This process can be accelerated if the coolant temperature and pressure are higher, as in the case of engine tuning.
This aluminum expansion tank solves this deterioration problem once and for all, and adds a sporty finish to your engine bay. It comes without a cap (an optional 1.3 bar cap is available). Designed specifically for the Mazda roadster, this expansion tank can be fitted in place of the stock part, without modification.
