The King fuel pressure regulator has been specifically designed to optimize carburetor fuel supply and ensure more reliable engine performance. Thanks to its wide, highly responsive internal diaphragm, it delivers a steady and consistent fuel flow regardless of weather conditions, ambient temperature, or driving style. This design guarantees controlled and even fuel delivery, supporting smooth and efficient engine operation in everyday use.

A standard fuel pump can produce pressure levels up to five times higher than what is actually required to supply a carburetor. This excess pressure may lead to flooding, engine hesitation, stalling, or fuel starvation, while also causing unnecessary fuel consumption. The King regulator effectively prevents these issues by reducing and precisely controlling fuel pressure to an optimal level. The result is a perfectly stable idle, quick and immediate engine starts, and smoother overall vehicle operation without any loss of performance at high RPM.

Fuel pressure delivered to the carburetor is set according to the engine’s maximum power requirements, with an additional safety margin determined by the size of the needle valve.
