GReddy RX Throttle Kit for Nissan GT-R R35 Specifications

The GReddy RX throttle body kit has been specially developed to meet the requirements of Nissan GT-Rs fitted with a tuned VR38DETT engine. With the internal diameter increased from the standard 60 mm to 68 mm, it offers a significantly larger air passage area, promoting increased intake flow. Fully machined to high precision from an aluminium alloy, the throttle bodies feature an optimised design aimed at reducing pressure drop. Their seamless venturi shape internal profile, combined with a throttle shaft whose thickness has been reduced to the absolute minimum, improves cylinder filling efficiency whilst minimising intake restrictions.

To ensure compatibility with the factory electronic throttle system, the bodies reuse the electric motor, gears and springs from the original Nissan parts. The kit includes left and right throttle bodies with a high-quality anodised finish, as well as specific metal gaskets. The dimensions have been designed to maximise performance, with a diameter of 80 mm for the piping mouting section, 68 mm for the butterfly valve and 70 mm for the intake manifold mounting section. For fitting with aluminium intake piping from GReddy or other manufacturers, a 70–80 mm reducer hose is required. Due to this difference in diameter, the standard hoses are not compatible with this kit.
