GKTech Steering Rack Relocation Kit Specification

The GKTech steering rack relocation kit for the Toyota GT86 ZN6 & Subaru BRZ ZC6 is designed to eliminate steering bind and over-centering issues commonly encountered in high-angle drift applications. Instead of relying on offset rack spacers (which can place excessive stress on the steering rack) this kit relocates the entire steering rack forward by 30 mm, improving steering geometry and maintaining smoother, more consistent steering operation at extreme lock angles. Designed from precise 3D scans, it ensures accurate fitment and compatibility with both left-hand and right-hand drive vehicles.

The kit includes reinforced mounting components, cutting templates, detailed installation guides, and billet solid steering rack bushings to minimize rack movement and reduce toe compliance for a more direct steering feel. Intended primarily for dedicated drift or high-performance setups, installation requires modification and welding of the OEM front subframe to accommodate the relocated rack position. Designed to improve steering precision and durability under demanding conditions, it also eliminates the need for traditional rack spacers thanks to the additional travel built into GKTech inner tie rods.
