GKTech High Performance Engine Fan

The GKTech high-performance engine fan has been developed and engineered in Australia to deliver significantly improved airflow compared to the factory unit. Dyno testing showed that it reduces cool-down time from 90°C to operating temperature by more than half (ideal for getting back on the line quickly at the track).

Installation is quick and straightforward: simply remove the factory fan (4 bolts) and replace it with the GKTech unit. It’s a direct-fit clutch fan designed for SR, CA and KA engines. With over 10,000 units sold, it’s widely regarded as one of the most effective cooling upgrades available.

Note : Not compatible with Nismo engine mounts on S13 models, as these mounts raise the engine by approximately 20 mm, causing interference with the radiator shroud (the GKTech fan is 15 mm larger in diameter than the OEM SR20 fan). S14 and S15 models with Nismo mounts are compatible.

Note 2 : Do not trim the fan if it comes close to intercooler piping. During installation, ensure there is at least 10–20 mm of clearance between the fan and surrounding components, keeping in mind that engine movement occurs under acceleration and braking.
