GKTech Axle Spacers Specification
The GKTech Axle Spacers are a high-quality solution designed to maintain proper drivetrain geometry on modified vehicles. Precision CNC-machined from billet aluminium, these spacers feature a concentric design to ensure a perfect and vibration-free fit between the driveshaft and hub. Unlike traditional bolt-on spacers, the V2 slip-in design eliminates the need for longer hardware, reducing the risk of bolt failure under high load conditions.
Available in 5mm, 10mm, and 15mm thicknesses, these spacers are engineered to suit a wide range of setups. The 5mm option is ideal for mildly lowered cars, while the thicker variants are better suited for more aggressive configurations, such as extended control arms, subframe swaps, or dual caliper brake setups. By correcting the position of the hub relative to the driveshaft, these spacers help maintain proper CV joint engagement and prevent premature axle wear or damage.
Without axle spacers, modifications that push the hub outward can place excessive stress on the CV joints, increasing the risk of failure over time. The GKTech V2 design addresses this issue by restoring optimal alignment, improving durability and reliability in demanding driving conditions. Sold as a pair and designed for straightforward installation, they are an essential upgrade for performance builds seeking both strength and proper mechanical geometry.
Notes :
- Fitment is only confirmed with OEM wheel bearings.
- Using 10mm or larger spacers will require modification of the OEM axle nut in order to retain the use of the split pin. Alternatively, a suitable thread-locking compound can be used.
- The further the hub is spaced away from the driveshaft, the less spline engagement there will be. For most vehicles, this is not an issue; however, if you are running high torque levels and/or have previously experienced spline stripping, this should be taken into consideration.
