FuelTech FT700 and FT700PLUS engine control units represent the ultimate in engine management and are part of the manufacturer's premium VisionFT range. These products are the future of ECUs, enhancing existing capabilities and functionality, and adding new features to push the boundaries even further. They are suitable for Otto cycle engines with up to 16 cylinders and Wankel engines up to 6 rotors. They also support electric vehicles.

This ECU is equipped with 36 input channels fully customisable, digital and analogue (temperature, pressure, speed and position sensors, TPS, external MAP, buttons, keys, etc.) including 8 high-speed inputs, as well as an internal 7 bar MAP sensor, an accelerometer (G-meter), a gyroscope and 4 CAN bus ports. In total, it also has 50 general-purpose outputs: all can be used for accessories such as fuel pumps, fans, solenoids, etc. A GPS port and two integrated wideband lambda sensor controllers complete the package. Communication with a PC (or tablet, smartphone, etc.) is provided via a USB-C cable, WiFi or Bluetooth. It is also possible to connect up to three devices to the ECU.

The digital dashboard integrated into the unit measures 7" on the FT700 and 12.3" on the FT700PLUS. It features a new interface and a customisable instrument panel with gauges of various sizes and styles. It features an upper section equipped with 12 configurable RGB LEDs, ideal for a progressive shift light, while 8 RGB warning LEDs are located on the sides. It also has a diagnostic panel with real-time information on all inputs, outputs, CAN, status events and engine diagnostics. It is housed in a waterproof metal and fibre-reinforced plastic casing (IP67 standard) with a detachable front fairing which makes it suitable for off-road and marine applications.

The FT700 / FT700PLUS allows for precise management of injection and ignition with the generation of 2D or 3D maps that can be modified in real time from the screen and the VisionFT software (including remote adjustment via the Internet). It supports fully sequential injection and enables closed-loop injection via an oxygen sensor (wideband lambda sensor). It provides fully sequential, semi-sequential and multipoint ignition control management.

The FT700 and FT700PLUS have a built-in data logger that allows you to record multiple sessions (files) to up to 1024 channels. With 64 GB of memory, it offers up to 617 hours of data storage, which can be viewed and compared in real time via the touchscreen, PC or other device.

Several drag racing features have also been implemented to improve the vehicle's times during acceleration races. These include burnout mode, brake pressure control via line lock, rev limiter, Pro-Nitrous setting, wheelie control, and more.

Truly versatile, the FT700 and FT700PLUS have numerous secondary features to help you tune your vehicle to suit your needs. It includes a BoostController (wastegate pressure control), active traction control, variable valve timing control (VTEC), a GearController (power-shifts), electronic throttle control (DBW) and many other functions.
