Factory Pads for DriftShop Big Brake Kits
Those factory pads are identical to the ones supplied by default with our big brake kits, and are available in three performance levels:
- "Street" pads: suitable for everyday use on open roads, with excellent cold response. They offer an average braking power (coefficient of friction of 0.45 to 0.55 between 0°C and 500°C) and are asbestos-free.
- Optional "Sports" pads: these are designed for sporty, mixed road and track use. They offer better pedal feel and greater braking force, but are less effective when cold (coefficient of friction of 0.55 to 0.65 between 100°C and 700°C). They can generate squeal noise.
- Optional "Race" pads: these offer excellent temperature resistance and maximum braking force, but require a warm-up phase before they are effective (coefficient of friction of 0.60 to 0.70 from 150°C to 850°C). Their use is prohibited and potentially dangerous on open roads. They can generate squeal noise.
