Stage 1 Clutches
Exedy Stage 1 clutches consist of a cushioned disc with organic "Ultra Fiber" lining and a reinforced pressure plate. Resistant to slipping and wear, they are suitable for road and occasional use on the track on lightly tuned vehicles. The comfort of using these clutches remains identical to that of the stock one.
Stage 2 Clutches
Exedy Stage 2 clutches consist of a cushioned disc with ceramic lining and a reinforced pressure plate. More enduring to mistreatment than Stage 1, they are designed for lightly tuned vehicles for road and track use. The comfort of using these clutches remains almost identical to that of the stock one.
Hyper Single Clutch Kits
The Exedy Hyper Single clutch kits consist of a cushioned disc with ceramic or "Various Friction" (VF) organic / metallic lining, a reinforced pressure plate and a lightweight chromoly flywheel. Very resistant to overheating, they are recommended for applications moderately tuned for intensive use. These parts are comfortable enough to use regularly and allow quick and precise gear changes.

Hyper Multi Clutch Kits
Exedy Hyper Multi clutch kits consist of two (Twin) or three (Triple) discs with cushioned or rigid ceramic lining, a reinforced pressure plate and a lightweight chromoly flywheel. Capable of supporting high torques, they are perfect for vehicles that are heavily tuned for intensive use on the track. Despite their high performance, these clutches remain for the most part fairly comfortable to use and maintain a soft pedal feel.
Hyper Compe Clutch Kits
Exedy Hyper Compe clutch kits consist of two dampened (Compe-D) or rigid (Compe-R) ceramic lined discs, a reinforced forged aluminum pressure plate and an ultra-light drilled chromoly flywheel. Truly developed for competitive use, they are ideal for drift and circuit (Compe-D) or time attack and slalom (Compe-R). Designed for drivers who want performance without compromise, these extremely light clutches ensure quick gear changes during the race.
Hyper Carbon Clutch Kits
Exedy Hyper Carbon clutch kits are composed of one (Single), two (Twin) or three (Triple) discs with dampened (Carbon-D) or rigid (Carbon-R) carbon discs, a reinforced pressure plate and a lightweight chromoly flywheel. The latest generation of ultra high performance clutches, they can be used on road or on track under intensive use and have a considerably reduced inertia. Armed with extreme resistance to high temperatures, these long-life clutches still retain some user comfort.
Made from chromium-molybdenum steel (chromoly), these Exedy flywheels combine reduced weight, low inertia and high thermal capacities. Precisely balanced, they allow for a quicker increase in RPMs and faster gear shifts. Their mass-cut or forged chromoly construction makes these flywheels considerably more resistant and rigid than their standard steel or aluminum counterparts.

Being very innovative, the firm is behind several world firsts in its field, including the marketing of the first dampened carbon clutch.
