Designed for the Toyota GR86, this air intake delivers a power gain of 10 to 14 hp based on over 125 dyno runs. Each configuration was tested on both stock and modified vehicles to evaluate the impact of a less restrictive intake. The naturally aspirated 2.4L Boxer engine is sensitive to intake temperatures, so the system is fully sealed to minimize heat. Testing revealed a power dip around 6000 rpm on the stock ECU, caused by a temporary engine resonance that occurs even with all restrictions removed. The stock airbox mitigates this effect but limits high-end power. After multiple iterations testing various intake lengths, single and dual openings, and the addition of deflectors, the final version minimizes this dip while delivering a 14 hp gain at high RPM on the stock ECU. With ECU remapping, significant mid-range gains are achieved, and the power dip disappears.

After years of using various intake systems and finding that the advertised gains were rarely achieved, the Eventuri team decided to take matters into their own hands and reinvent the concept.
