DriftShop Short Shifter for BMW E30, E34, E36, E39, E46

This short shift kit is a direct replacement for the original shifter, no modifications required. It reduces gear lever travel by around 50%, allowing faster, more direct, precise gear changes.

This shifter comes engraved with the DriftShop logo.

No fiddling to do, it's really plug and play on my e36 and it really changes everything. They advertise 50% less travel and it's really the case or more. The first time I engaged the first gear, I thought that the speed was not passed because the travel is so short. Really at the top

Good quality products and very efficient. It really reduces the gearshift travel and makes it much firmer and more precise so not ideal for everyday road driving but very efficient for sport/track/rally driving etc... The only drawback is that it doesn't fit "plug in play" on the gearboxes of a bmw e30 phase 1 and requires some modifications (it fits however without modifications on ph2 gearbox)

Pas tout a fait plug and play, oblige de depauser le support sur le quel il vienne monte et limer le dessous du support pour que le clips de maintien se monte correctement bien a plat et remplacement des 2 joints pour des un poil plus fin et souple car impossible de monter correctement la piece sinon tres bon rendu et tres agreable une fois monter ! (E46 320i)

Ca raccourci vraiment la course du levier de vitesse , la qualite est bonne . Par contre il faut un peu limer le silentbloc en bas pour remettre le clip 'sinon ca ne rentre pas et j'ai du repercer le trou qui etait un peu serre ca rendait les vitesses dure a passer , donc a savoir avant de le monter que c'est pas 100% plug and play !

C'est la deuxieme fois que j'achete ce produit et je ne suis pas decu. Le changement est radical. Une petite sensation s'installe Je note cependant, que le levier n'est pas tres bien aligne, a l'axe de son emplacement. Montage plug and play

Not plug&play for E23 728i phase 2, you have to remove the blue tube and the plastic that surrounds the sphere and replace it by the original one.

the short shifter is life. I still had to play with the file for 2 minutes to get it to fit nicquel but who cares, it works like a charm & it reduces the travel by 50% ;)
