The original DISA valve (Differential Intake System Adjuster Valve) of the BMW M54 engine is made of plastic, and is a well-known weak point. Over time, it can crack or break, causing air leaks and loss of performance. The S4RK kit, made of CNC-machined forged aluminum, is designed to eliminate this issue and provide a durable solution, even under intensive use or on turbocharged/supercharged engines. Fully "bolt on", it fits in place of the original part, preserving the factory appearance of the engine bay.
