Designed by Cybul, this tubular front subframe for Mazda MX-5 NC considerably increases stiffness and reduces vehicle weight. It also offers the possibility of correcting the roll center thanks to its additional mounting points for both lower and upper control arms, with positions 20 mm higher. Crucial for lowered vehicles, roll center adjustment helps improve handling and reduce understeer.

Manufactured from chrome-molybdenum steel tubing, this front subframe, with its numerous diagonal braces, greatly increases rigidity and is also 30% lighter than the stock subframe. This front-end weight reduction translates directly into improved handling and a more responsive, engaging driving experience.

Among its other strong points, this subframe offers total compatibility with stock accessories, as it retains all the standard subframe attachment points for engine mounts, plastic covers, radiator, etc. It also allows better access to the engine by creating space under the hood, facilitating maintenance, wire routing and auxiliary installations. This freed-up space is also a plus for swaps with large engines such as V8s.

Please note: To take advantage of the full range of roll-center adjustment and further improve vehicle handling, it is essential to combine this tubular front subframe with the optional front lower control arm spherical bearing kit, lowered steering tie rod ends and front camber arms.
