The Cybul V3 swap kit is the ideal high-end solution for owners of Mazda MX-5 NA models looking to carry out a V8 swap as easily as possible. This version builds on the V2 kit and its tubular subframe by adding exhaust manifolds specially adapted for the MX-5, making this all-in-one package the closest thing to a true bolt-on option. This kit is compatible with the Toyota/Lexus 1UZ-FE and 3UZ-FE engines, renowned for their robustness, unique sound, relative compactness and excellent tuning potential.

Designed specifically for the MX-5 chassis, this kit ensures optimised engine positioning, a structure capable of withstanding the high torque of UZ engines, and a layout developed to allow easier fabrication of exhaust manifolds. It comes with a dedicated oil pan fitted with a suitable pickup and a repositioned dipstick for added convenience. The engine mounts are fitted with heat shields to protect them from the heat of the exhaust manifolds, whilst heavy-duty engine bushings have been selected to ensure long-term durability.

This V3 retains from the V2 the tubular front subframe with the oil pan guard, providing more space in the engine bay to facilitate maintenance work. Furthermore, it improves chassis rigidity and opens up new possibilities for suspension geometry thanks to its control arm mounting points, which are raised by 18 mm, allowing the roll centre to be adjusted. This subframe also retains the essential mounting points for the steering rack and accessories. Finally, the V3 adds custom-made exhaust manifolds to make the swap even easier.
