Offered by CNC71, this kit of adaptor brackets for the BMW 3 Series E36 (except Compact) allows an extra pair of rear callipers to be fitted without welding and without any special modifications. The brackets are designed using a 3D scanner and manufactured in PA9 7075 aluminium on CNC machines, ensuring a perfect fit to the car.
This kit must be fitted with a second set of callipers identical to the one currently installed on the car. It is then possible to install a hydraulic handbrake on an entirely separate and independent circuit, a great solution for drift use.
It is not necessary to disassemble the hubs to install these adaptor brackets. However, the ABS sensor must be removed. It is essential to clean the contact surfaces thoroughly before fitting the brackets to the swing arms using the screws and hardware supplied.
