Bosch Alternator Kit for Toyota 1UZ Engine Specifications

Original Toyota alternators today have two major disadvantages:

• They are getting older, alternators on 1UZ are sometimes over 30 years old and have often hundreds of thousands of kilometers. Their reliability becomes critical, Toyota does not make them anymore or the prices charged are prohibitive, and the aftermarket offers only very few opportunities.
• Their amperage, usually between 90 and 100A for the older alternators, is insufficient nowadays for modified vehicles equipped with electric accessories such as high flow fuel pumps, high performance ignition, electric water pumps and fans, modern PDM and ECU, car audio...

With this observation, our partner MZR Garage has developed a kit to install a modern Bosch alternator on Toyota 1UZ engines. This is a very common Bosch part number (used mainly by the VAG group: Volkswagen, Seat, Audi, Skoda, Porsche ...), very reliable and ensuring 140A or 180A continuously. This "plug & play" kit has been designed to install a Bosch alternator as a direct replacement of the original alternator, and guarantees reliable and linear intensity and tension regardless of the load and engine rev.

This kit is compatible with Toyota 1UZ-FE engines on all models such as Toyota Soarer, Aristo, Lexus LS 400, GS 400 as well as swaps. It is also available for some other popular Japanese engines.

Please note, this kit is supplied without belt but is 100% compatible with your current belt.
