BorgWarner Alternator Kit for Nissan VG30 Engines Specifications

Original Nissan alternators today have two major disadvantages:

• They are getting older, alternators on SR20 have more than 20 years old, sometimes up to 30 years old and often hundreds of thousands of kilometers. Their reliability becomes critical, Nissan does not make them anymore and the aftermarket offers only very few opportunities.
• Their amperage, usually between 80 and 90A, is insufficient nowadays for modified vehicles equipped with electric accessories such as high flow fuel pumps, high performance ignition, electric water pumps and fans, modern PDM and ECU, car audio...

With this observation, our partner MZR Garage has developed a kit to install a modern BorgWarner alternator on Nissan VG30 engines. This is a very common BorgWarner part number, very reliable and ensuring 150A continuously. This "plug & play" kit has been designed to install a BorgWarner alternator as a direct replacement of the original alternator, and guarantees reliable and linear intensity and tension regardless of the load and engine rev.

This kit is compatible with all Nissan VG30DE and VG30DETT engines on models such as 300ZX Z32, Cedric Y32, Gloria Y32, Cima FY31/FY32... It has been tested on stock and over 500 hp engines. It is also available for Nissan RB, SR & CA and Toyota 1JZ & 2JZ, among others.

Please note, this kit is supplied without belt and is not compatible with the OEM belt.
