AiM MX2E Dash Logger Specifications

The AiM MX2E Logger is a plug and play digital dashboard specially designed for Toyota-powered Lotus Elise and Exige from 2004 to 2020. It is capable of acquiring and displaying a very large amount of data, is compatible with the original harness (except 2004-2007 models with airbag - optional adapter available) and comes with a bespoke instrument cluster for a perfect fitting. Easy to install, this cluster is equipped with 4 buttons that allow to navigate through the pages and menus of the device.

Ideally sized, the MX2E features a 6" color TFT display that is perfectly readable in any light conditions. It offers two display types: road or track, each with an analog or digital theme. In all, you can choose from 16 display layouts with four different color options.

A large number of alarm icons are integrated into the display: rear fog lights, position lights, ABS, traction control, airbag ... It also has 18 LEDs providing the following information: turn signals, 10 LED shift lights, handbrake, low fuel level, immobilizer, parking lights, high beam, engine problem.

The MX2E comes with a GPS09 Module that provides accurate GPS speed, lap timing and track mapping. You can view track data directly from the display or perform more in-depth analysis using the free downloadable Race Studio 3 software. The latter allows you to display all data in graphs, histograms or tables, so you can quickly compare different laps, driving sessions or track days.

Thanks to its camera (sold separately) analog input, it is possible to turn the display into a reversing camera or rearview mirror through push-button command or event management (e.g.: reverse gear engaged).

Additional devices can be connected to the MX2E to acquire extra data or increase the number of features offered: Channel Expansion, Lambda Controller, SmartyCam HD or GP HD camera...

Warning: The MX2E is plug and play for 2008-2020 Lotus Elise/Exige. For 2004-2007 models with airbag, an optional harness adapter is required for installation.
