This adapter kit allows the following components to be fitted together :
- Nissan 350Z / 370Z (CD001 / CD005 / CD006 / CD007 / CD008 / CD009) gearbox
- Nissan SR20DET, SR20DE engines
Why make this conversion ? Withstanding up to 1500 Nm and with a fairly low second hand price, the Nissan 350Z / 370Z gearbox is both incredibly strong and cheap : it is one of the most affordable and reliable upgrades for highly tuned cars used in competitions. This kit can also be used when converting an automatic transmission to manual, OEM Nissan gearboxes becoming rarer and more expensive.
The adaption plate included in this kit is designed and made in Europe, CNC'd from aviation quality forged aluminium. Widely used in motorsports for several years, it offers both stiffness and perfect alignment between the engine and the transmission. The adaption plate comes with all necessary parts for installation (bolts, accessories), and we also offer different optional clutches for a bolt-on installation, depending on your requirements.
