Japanese company, Valino manufactures high quality drift tires, designed with the help of well known drivers such as Naoki Nakamura, Katsuhiro Ueo, Noato Suenaga and Tetsuya Hibino. Developed initially for drifting competitions in Japan, Valino semi-slick tires are available in two ranges, Pergea and Greeva, with several Treadwear ratings, optimized for different levels of performance and longevity.
Launched in 2019, the brand already has many victories to its name, in D1GP, Formula Drift, Drift Masters GP and in many other competitions in Japan, in the United States and in Europe.
Valino Pergea
The Pergea range has been designed to offer a high grip, guaranteeing an exceptional level of control. The Valino Pergea semi-slicks are aimed at competitors and drifters using vehicles with high power, and are available in three different rubber hardnesses : ultra-soft Pergea 08SP (Treadwear 140 - TW140), soft Pergea 08RS (TW160), and Pergea 08R for medium hardness (TW200). These variations ensure an optimal response in any kind of situation.
Valino Greeva
The Greeva range has been developed to offer maximum fun and an incredible lifespan : "More Fun & More Life ". Fully designed to withstand drifting efforts and validated by Team Orange on the Ebisu circuits, the Valino Greeva semi-slicks really let you drift up to 10 times longer (compared to a conventional road tire). Their high treadwear rating (TW360) guarantees exceptional resistance to overheating and regular wear to the last millimeters of rubber. Thanks to the Valino Greeva tires, you can finally enjoy your track days on the track, and not in the paddocks for frequent tire changes!
Valino Ebisu Matsuri
Ebisu Matsuri range is a new version of the Greeva tires, already recognized for their extraordinary lifespan in drifting. Especially designed for the drift festivals on the Japanese Ebisu circuit ("matsuri" means festival in Japanese), they are made from a 30% harder compound, guaranteeing a 30% longer lifespan than a standard Greeva tire while remaining road approved in Europe (photo : Peter Kelly, Speedhunters).
Valino VR08GP
The VR08GP range was created to meet the requirements of fans of grip driving on the circuit, and more particularly of time attack, who want to have fun and clock solid lap times without breaking the bank. These asymmetric semi-slick tyres provide a high level of grip, easy control as well as a long life, and are suitable for both casual use (track days, etc.) and competition. They have been tested on circuits such as Fuji Speedway or Tsukuba in Japan. Unlike the VR08GP, the VR08GP Neuma is road legal in Europe.
