The MaxxECU PDM20 is a Power Distribution Module for MaxxECU Engine Management Systems. It is designed to replace fuses and relays to simplify and modernise the vehicle's electrical system.
The PDM can support up to 230A and features 20 outputs (8x25A, 8x15A, 4x8A) and 7 digital/analogue inputs (0-24V). All outputs can be controlled by PWM (pulse width modulation).
The module has a dedicated +5V power supply and sensor ground, and uses the CAN data bus for communication and setup management via MaxxECU MTune PC software. It offers several adjustable levels of overcurrent protection with automatic restart and soft start options, as well as warning levels for under/overcurrent.
The PDM20 is compatible with all MaxxECU devices and offers error code handling. It supports CAN keyboards and has a built-in energy-saving mode. For high loads, the outputs are connected in parallel.
The MaxxECU PDM20 is available in several versions:
- PDM20: unit supplied without any accessories
- PDM20 + connectors: unit supplied with accessories and two connectors (26 pin and 34 pin)
- PDM20 Premium: unit supplied with accessories and two harnesses (26 pin and 34 pin)
