MaxxECU Gen2 Race Engine Management System Specification

An evolution of the renowned Race model, the MaxxECU Gen2 Race ECU is the ultimate solution for tuners and motorsport professionals, offering a comprehensive overview of the engine and precise tuning for maximum performance. It supports up to 12 cylinders in sequential ignition, or 16 cylinders with wasted spark. It features Bluetooth connectivity and extra motor outputs (very useful to control e-throttles on newer engines, for example).

The MaxxECU Gen2 Race has a built-in 4.5 bar MAP sensor (intake manifold absolute pressure) and features a 3-axis accelerometer (up to 8 G), up to 8 EGT (exhaust gas temperature) sensors, 2 wideband sensors and 2 knock sensors. Thanks to the MTune software, you will be able to build complete ignition and fuel maps along with many features: variable timing, boost control, Flex Fuel, traction & launch control, anti-lag, and so on. With its 16 Gb of internal memory and 4 processors (including main ARM dual core processor), the MaxxECU Gen2 Race engine management system is capable of feats: 1000 Hz data logging, ignition resolution of 0.1°, injection resolution of 0.001 ms, and up to 3000 injection and ignition computing per second.

The MaxxECU Gen2 Race supports the CAN bus protocol (dual port) and has 16 high or low impedance injector outputs, 12 ignition outputs, 16 general purpose outputs, 8 pulse inputs (VR/Hall) and 24 analog inputs, guaranteeing unique development possibilities! With a dimension of 240 x 138 x 35 mm, it weighs only 700 g. Do not hesitate to check out all the advanced technical information on the official website of the manufacturer!

Available Options

Characteristics

The MaxxECU engine management systems were born in Sweden, from a simple observation: in the early 2000s, there was no simple and powerful ECU to meet the needs of tuners. Today, MaxxECU responds to an ever increasing demand, offering easy-to-use EMS with revolutionary features. Proof of their quality, MaxxECU units are now widely used for the circuit racing, drifting, dragster and even on the road.
