Japanese company, Valino manufactures high quality drift tires, designed with the help of well known drivers such as Naoki Nakamura, Katsuhiro Ueo, Noato Suenaga and Tetsuya Hibino. Developed initially for drifting competitions in Japan, Valino semi-slick tires are available in two ranges, Pergea and Greeva, with several Treadwear ratings, optimized for different levels of performance and longevity.

Launched in 2019, the brand already has many victories to its name, in D1GP, Formula Drift, Drift Masters GP and in many other competitions in Japan, in the United States and in Europe.

Operating Pressure

Please note : Valino recommends using Pergea and Greeva tires with a cold pressure of 2 bars. Unlike most other brands, Valino tires are designed to provide a constant grip, which varies very little with pressure. Thus, you will only observe a slight difference in grip between Valino tires at 1 bar or 2.5 bar, for example. This advantage exclusive to Valino allows you to have constant performance when the tire heats up and its pressure increases.

For your safety, Valino specifies that the pressure use range for the Pergea and Greeva is from 1 bar minimum, to 3.8 bars maximum. Valino recommends starting your drift sessions with tires at 2 bars cold, then slightly adjusting the pressure throughout the session, depending on the conditions of use (vehicle power, type of circuit, outside temperature, weather conditions, etc.).

Valino Ebisu Matsuri Tires

The Ebisu Matsuri range is a new version of the Greeva tires, already recognized for their extraordinary lifespan in drifting. Especially designed for the drift festivals on the Japanese Ebisu circuit ("matsuri" means festival in Japanese), they are made from a 30% harder compound, guaranteeing a 30% longer lifespan than a standard Greeva tire while remaining road approved in Europe. They guarantee unparalleled resistance to overheating and regular wear to the last millimeters of rubber.
