Motul NGen Hybrid 0W8 Oil Specifications

The new Motul NGen Hybrid range, with a 25% smaller carbon footprint, replaces the French manufacturer's previous Hybrid family of lubricants. It is based on a new sustainable concept that relies on a formula composed of 25% organic base oil (100% renewable plant-based synthetic base stocks) and on packaging made from 50% recycled plastic and 100% recyclable.

This 0W8 engine oil has been specially designed for Hybrid Electric Vehicles (HEV) and Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicles (PHEV) equipped with recent turbocharged or naturally-aspirated petrol engines, with direct or indirect injection. NGen Hybrid limits fuel dilution and water emulsion, and offers exceptional lubrication during cold starts or repeated use of the "stop & start" system.

This high fuel economy oil complies with the JASO GLV-1 standard and is also suitable for Battery Electric Vehicles (BEV) with a thermal petrol engine used as a range extender. It is fully compatible with catalytic converters and particulate filters.
