Link WireIn G4+ Thunder ECU Specifications

The Link WireIn Thunder ECU is the manufacturer's most advanced G4+ model, ideal for applications requiring maximum performance, flexibility and tuning capabilities. It has more functions and inputs/outputs than any other ECU from the brand.

Part of the G4+ line, the Thunder features a specialised 40 MHz dual processor and 32 MB of memory for data logging. Each G4+ model supports Flex Fuel, knock control and a variety of other functions: launch control, anti-lag, traction control, shift control, VVT control, boost control... The Thunder adds two on-board lambda controllers, can manage two e-throttles, and features two EGT thermocouple inputs and a cruise control, among others.

The Thunder has 8 "peak & hold" (10/3 A) injector and 8 ignition drives, 16 digital and 16 analog inputs, 4 temperature inputs and 20 auxiliary outputs. The unused injector and ignition drives can be used as additional auxiliary outputs.

This ECU supports CAN bus (2 channels) and RS232 series protocols and has a USB connectivity (cable supplied). The configuration requires a PC and is done with the PCLink software (downloadable from the manufacturer's website). Mapping must be done by a professional.

Fully programmable, the Thunder measures 180 x 210 x 40 mm and weighs 1,060 kg. Feel free to consult all the technical information on the official manufacturer's website.
