Défi Advance CAN Driver

This Défi Advance CAN Driver unit allows you to control Advance series gauges (sold separately) by taking out ISO-CAN data from an OBD2 connector. It is recommended for users who want to easily install Advance gauges without sensors and for vehicles which engine speed signals cannot be obtained from ECU.

Here are the different possibilities that the Défi CAN Driver offers:

  • The information provided by OBD2 can be sent to gauges without connecting sensors.
  • Speed and engine speed signals can be sent from OBD2 to an Advance tachometer or Advance Control Unit even when these signals cannot be obtained from ECU.
  • Illumination on/off signals can be sent to the Advance Control Unit in the case of vehicles with Défi products compatibility issues (European cars in particular).
  • "Peak" and "warning" values can be displayed. The illumination color of Advance CR/RS gauges can be changed.
  • This product is compatible with the following Défi Advance series gauges: tachometer, boost pressure, intake manifold pressure and water temperature. Up to 3 gauges can be connected to one CAN Driver.
