Cybul M60/M62 Engine Swap Kit Specifications

This 100% bolt-on Cybul engine swap kit allows you to install an M60 or M62 V8 in a BMW 3 Series E46 or Z4. It's a complete solution, suitable for both LHD and RHD vehicles, and requires no welding or bodyshell modifications. Like an OE fit, the bonnet closes without lowering the subframe. What's more, the Alpina-like position of the engine ensures correct weight distribution, while the TIG-welded oil pan supplied is the lightest on the market.

Unlike some kits that can lead to reliability problems, this is the only one to provide a custom-designed oil pressure valve for this swap. Moreover, the engine position can be steplessly adjusted from front to back to suit all setups. This kit comes with all the parts needed to install the V8 in the engine bay.

Important notes : A smaller diameter intermediate steering shaft (available as an option) is required if you intend to fit X5 headers. Depending on the gearbox you choose, modifications to the driveshaft, gearbox mount and gear lever may be essential. Finally, this kit requires using pump (to be modified by yourself) and chain from E32, E34, E38 or E39.
