SpeedSocket Tool Specifications
Drift training, competition or grip trackdays often require frequent wheel changes. Usually performed in emergency to quickly get back on track, changing wheels involves putting your wheel nuts onto the ground where they get wet, pick up dirt that may damage the threads, burn your hands or even roll away underneath the car when your annoying teammate stumbles over them.
Forget it! With SpeedSocket, changing your wheels now becomes a fun challenge rather than a chore: while removing the nuts, the SpeedSocket captures each of them in its chamber and returns them automatically when fitting back to the car. Just place the SpeedSocket over the studs with an impact gun and go for it: the inner mechanism stops any cross threading from happening. The operation requires no manual intervention and it is possible to change a wheel in less than 20 seconds !

SpeedSocket Wheel Nuts Specifications
Manufactured from forged chromoly 4140 steel, these nuts are designed to work with the SpeedSocket tool. To ensure the proper functioning of the SpeedSocket, it is mandatory that the wheel stud is flush with the nut once tightened with the wheel in place (see diagram above). If your studs are too long, two solutions are available:
- Cut your studs to the appropriate length, and chamfer them (we offer many OEM replacement studs, may you need to revert to original length in the future)
- Choose extended SpeedSocket nuts, which allow 10 mm thread to protrude from the end of the nut. End nipples (non-threaded part) will not affect operation.
Warning ! For your own safety, always ensure that the nuts are using enough thread on the studs. Nuts should be flush with the studs when torqued to the wheel on the car. Standards SpeedSocket nuts are compatible with wheels in 3, 4, 5 or 6-hole PCD. Extended nuts are compatible with wheels in 3, 4 or 5-hole PCD.
Copper Nuts
With their coating, copper nuts guarantee ultimate protection against corrosion and also offer a natural lubricating power, making them particularly suitable for harsh conditions (high temperatures, ultra-frequent wheel changes in drifting, off-road, snow, salt...).
