HKS Super Power Flow Intake for Mazda MX-5 NB Specifications

The Super Power Flow is HKS' basic model. It replaces the stock air filter and original air filter box. Installation is simple as it is "plug & play / bolt on", without any modification necessary.

Each kit comes with a high performance "mushroom" filter (up to 30% increase in air flow), hoses and aluminium brackets specially adapted for your vehicle, and all necessary accessories for installation (joiners, clips, bolts, etc.). Unlike the other HKS Racing Suction kits, the Super Power Flow does not include the rigid aluminium pipe for the air intake, it only replaces the stock air filter and it's housing.

Installer en 1h/1h30, il faut un peu bricoler pour faire du mou au niveau des cables (retirer la gaine et en refaire une nouvelle pour proteger). Le son change radicalement des qu'on appuie sur la pedale, beaucoup plus roque et sportif que d'origine. On entend bien que le filtre absorbe beaucoup d'air quand on accelere.

Top. Se monte en fait sur une gamme bien plus etendue de MX5 que ce qui est indique sur la boite. Bien suivre les instructions et tutos et l'affaire est pliee en une heure. Peu de distance parcourue avec, pas d'avis sur les performances. La boite et la packaging a eux seuls sont deja un voyage au Japon...

Facile d'installation, une sonorite au top une fois le papillions ouvert a fond (pied plancher) un leger gain de puissance, il manquerais uniquement un cloisonnement pour attenuer l'aspiration de la chaleur du moteur mais c'est une piece facile a fabriquer sois meme

Complete kit of good quality but the cable of the original flowmeter is too short, you will have to extend it at your favorite mecano.
