Adapter Kit for BMW Gearbox on Toyota 1JZ/2JZ Engines

This adapter kit allows the following components to be fitted together :

• BMW type M50, M52, M57, S50, S52, S54 gearbox (as factory-fitted on various BMW models, such as 530d E39 and 330d E46)
• Toyota 1JZ-GTE & 2JZ-GTE engines (and their N/A versions)

Why make this conversion ? Withstanding up to 1500 Nm and with a fairly low second hand price, the BMW 530d gearbox is both incredibly strong and cheap : it is one of the most affordable and reliable upgrades for highly tuned cars used in competitions. This kit can also be used when converting an automatic transmission to manual on a Supra or Chaser, OEM Toyota gearboxes (like Getrag 6 speed or R154) becoming rarer and more expensive. 

The adaption plate included in this kit is designed and made in Europe, CNC'd from aviation quality forged aluminium. Widely used in motorsports for several years, it offers both stiffness and perfect alignment between the engine and the transmission. The adaption plate comes with all necessary parts for installation (bolts, accessories), and we also offer different optional clutches for a bolt-on installation, depending on your requirements. 

Sachs Optional Clutch & Flywheels

Designed for daily driving and occasional track days, this multipurpose single-disc clutch offers great value for money, all while ensuring a long product life. The corresponding flywheel, which is necessary for installation, is made from high quality lightweight forged aluminium.

BMW M5 E60 Optional Twin-Clutch & Flywheel

Recommended both for daily use and on the track, this twin-disc clutch combines high performance and comfort. OEM part straight from BMW, this clutch is factory-fitted on the M5 E60. The corresponding flywheel, which is necessary for installation, is made from high quality lightweight forged aluminium.

Tilton Optional Clutches & Flywheel

For intensive use without compromise, choose a twin or triple-disc clutch from Tilton. Withstanding up to 1500 Nm, these rigid clutches are ideal for highly modified vehicles used in competitions. The corresponding flywheel, which is necessary for installation, is made from high quality lightweight forged aluminium.
